Release notes · WebSureQTool 1.3.3

What’s new

A quality-of-life release — WebSureQTool now tells you when an update is available, and the browser workspace recovers gracefully when a session ends unexpectedly.

Update notifications

Direct installs now check once a day and let you know when a new version is published. Updates download and install only with your explicit consent, and your current version is backed up first so you can revert. You can skip a version or turn the check off entirely. Microsoft Store installs keep updating through the Store as before.

Browser session recovery

Closed the automation browser window by hand? WebSureQTool now detects the ended session and starts a fresh one automatically — no more “invalid session id” errors when you click Open or Scan.

Smarter URL handling

URLs pasted with surrounding parentheses, brackets, or quotes — common when copying from documents or emails — are cleaned up automatically before navigation.
