Database-less privacy: storage, retention, and security boundaries

What it is WebSureQTool is database-less by design: the app does not require a central DB to function. Your Workspace folder is the system of record. Why it’s needed - Government and banking environments often restrict SaaS storage and data movement. - Teams need retention control (where files live, how long they stay, who can access). - Avoiding a central DB reduces operational burden and simplifies security review. Benefits - Data stays where you decide (local disk, encrypted volume, network share, etc.). - Easier compliance alignment (retention, eDiscovery, internal governance). - Lower operational complexity: fewer moving parts, fewer failure modes. How to use it in WebSureQTool Choose a Workspace location that meets your organization’s policies (encryption, backups, access control). Configure Workspace folders for suites, datasets, drivers, logs, and reports. Back up the Workspace folder using your standard IT processes (no special export required). Note: if you enable cloud sign-in/billing, that is for entitlement management—your test artifacts still live in your Workspace.
